Set amongst the scenic Rocky Mountains, only 4 km North of the picturesque town of Valemount, British Columbia, Cougar Mountain Lodge offers accommodations in a large log home set on 5 acres of land. Getting There... Travelling west on the Yellowhead Highway (highway 16) you will come to a large junction (approximately 1 hour past Jasper, AB) where the options are to head north towards Prince George or south towards Valemount/Kamloops on Highway 5. You must take Highway 5 towards Valemount/Kamloops on which you will pass under 2 bridges: Cougar Mountain Lodge is right before the 2nd bridge on the left (east) side of the road (approximately 14km south of the 16/5 junction). If you are travelling from Kamloops in the south you will pass the townsite of Valemount, continue 4km to the north and pass under the first bridge; Cougar Mountain Lodge is on the right (east) side of the road.
